Band members discuss their favorite albums on new, influential music blog The Sound, It Resounds
MONTREAL, QC - February 21, 2011 – The Sound, It Resounds, a new and influential music blog, today announced the launch of its audio interview series, including conversations with members of Grammy Award winners Arcade Fire, Braids and Efterklang. These engaging interviews reveal band members’ favorite albums and how these seminal recordings influenced and inspired their own art.
The goal of The Sound, It Resounds is simple: Tell great, enlightening, personal and entertaining stories of the who, what, where, why and how’s of the music that helped shaped their lives. The blog format also features both essay or short stories on a wide variety of classic albums as well as one-on-one audio podcast interviews conducted by host and curator of The Sound, It Resounds, Gary Jansz.
More notably there are stories written by the likes of producer Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire/Wolf Parade/godspeed, you black emperor) on the Velvet Underground, Stephen Ramsay of Young Galaxy contributes a story on Public Enemy and Liz Powell of Land of Talk gives a shout out to Fugazi.
