The Sound, It Resounds (a riff on the MC5 classic track ‘Kick Out the Jams’) is a music blog where the author and instigators voice (yours truly) is merely a background whisper giving way to the greater voices of musicians,  independent label owners, producers, engineers, music promoters, artists, writers and filmmakers  who wish to share stories about how that one song or album inspired and influenced them to do what they do and love and how it sustains them and even gives birth to new ideas and approaches to music and the arts.

The goal of The Sound, It Resounds is simple: Tell great, enlightening, personal, funny and entertaining stories of the who, what, where, why and how’s of the music that helped shaped our lives.  Hope you enjoy the stories.....
